GB Extra Long Titanium Chainsaw Bar, Large Timber & Slabbing

Extra-long are manufactured from a one-piece solid 6mm thick titanium alloy steel, specially heat-treated and hardened then laser-cut for precise shape and fit-up. Rails are induction hardened with precision CNC ground grooves.

Extra-long’s heavy-duty sprocket nose is fitted with GB's high-tech alloy sprocket that glides on precision Swiss bearings. The nose locks over a solid steel web on the bar body, held firmly by five high tensile rivets.

GB Extra-long guide bars are specially designed for large timber processing and slab cutting. Proudly Australian manufactured, GB Extra-long bars are highly regarded by forestry industries worldwide.

HS mount fits large 14mm stud Stihl (070, 076, 084. 090, 088, MS880) and large Echo. HS mount has additional oil inlet holes pre-drilled designed to fit 12mm SN medium stud Stihl (MS660 Ms661) and 9mm HV Husqvarna (395XP 3120) with 12-14mm & 9-14mm bar stud spacer shims supplied.

 HV mount fits large 9mm Husqvarna or Jonsered.

Available in 3/8" or .404 pitch, .063 gauge

To avoid guide bar jamming when running 3/8” option we suggest running a large wide tooth 3/8” chain. Extra-long are 6mm thick, 1.3mm thicker than a standard guide bar.

 Extra-Long are recommended for Power heads over 100cc

84" and 87" are recommended for fixed stationary engines on portable mills. Chainsaw tensioners may have issues obtaining adequate chain tension.
