This page allows you to exercise your privacy rights regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information. Depending on your location, different privacy laws may apply, including the CCPA/CPRA, the GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, and others. We respect your privacy choices regardless of your location.

Your Right to Opt Out of “Sale,” “Sharing,” or Targeted Advertising

As described in our Privacy Policy, we may collect personal information from your interactions with our store and website, including via cookies and similar technologies. We may share this information with third parties (for example, advertising and analytics partners). Depending on the law, this may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” You have the right to opt out of these activities.

If you opt out, we instruct our systems and our ecommerce platform provider, Shopify, not to use your information for advertising “sale”/“sharing,” including exclusion from eligible advertising audiences and related Enhanced Services. Operational uses (e.g., security, fraud prevention, service delivery) may continue as permitted by law.

How to Opt Out

  • One-click (recommended): Open the Shopify Data Sharing Opt-Out page
    This page is shown where required by law (for example, in certain U.S. states). If unavailable in your region, use the methods below.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will honor it as an opt-out request for that device/browser in supported regions. Learn about GPC.
  • Cookie preferences: Manage non-essential cookies via our banner or the button below. Declining non-essential cookies limits use of your data for advertising and other non-essential purposes.
  • Form submission: Complete and submit the form below if the one-click option isn’t available in your region.
  • Email: Send a request to privacy@whitesforestry.com.

What Happens After You Opt Out

  • We verify your request and, if valid, process it within 15 business days (or earlier if required by law).
  • We confirm completion by email. Your opt-out preference remains valid for at least 12 months.
  • Where supported, your opt-out is also synchronized with Shopify so your data isn’t used to build or contribute to advertising audiences.
  • We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Appeals (US states where required)

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email or contacting privacy@whitesforestry.com within 45 days. We’ll review and respond with our determination and reasoning.

Shopify Network Intelligence (SNI) & Enhanced Services

When enabled, Shopify may use data from interactions with our store, with other merchants, and with Shopify to power enhanced features (“Enhanced Services”). Your Do Not Sell/Share or targeted advertising opt-out limits the use of your information for advertising purposes in these services. Security, fraud prevention, and service operations may continue as permitted by law. You can also manage certain rights directly with Shopify via the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will only request the minimum information necessary for verification.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Agents must provide proof of your written permission and may need to verify their own identity. We may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
